Reasons to move to Scotland, part 3
Children starting secondary schools in England this week will be the first to be legally required to stay in education until they are 17.
And they pay EMA to home educators.
And they're "scrapping council tax in favour of a local income tax."
Much more of this and I'll be asking for us to be ruled from Edinburgh instead of London, please.

Hello,
I've been enjoying wandering about your blog. I thought I'd point out, in case you hadn't heard, that the LIT is being put off indefinitely. Rather depressing, but I suppose that's one thing I won't then miss if I end up needing to move south of the border. :/

Kind regards
Hi Lanna,
Oh, that's bad news isn't it? I wonder why they're putting it off.
